PETA-Style Idiots Break Minks out of Facility… Realize Their Mistake Too Late

on

Thanks to the actions of some idiotic animal rights activists, thousands of minks — the animal whose fur is used to line luxury clothing items — died.

According to The St. Cloud Times, between 10:30 pm Sunday evening and 5:30 am Monday morning, the activists released 38,000 of them from a farm in Eden Valley, Minnesota. Despite attempts by the farmer, Dan Lang, to reel them back in, more than half of the minks died. Lang saying:

“We just threw mink in pens to try to get as many back as we could, and now they are killing each other. And they’re still dying. They are still dying from heat stress.”

Turns out, the domesticated animals can’t survive all that well in the wild. Lang saying:

“I’m so sick of crying. It’s unbelievable. For the first time in my life this morning, I didn’t want to be (in the barns) … I want to be by my animals, but I can’t bear to see what’s going on anymore. It is absolute chaos; I wish these people that did this would come here every day for two weeks, and they could help pick up the dead ones.”

Now, the farmer’s family business has an estimated $750,000 loss because of what happened.

Despite the loud rhetoric from animal activists, its clear many of them — or at least the ones involved in this careless move — don’t really give a damn about animals.

According to Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson, the activists are cowards at heart, domestic terrorists, and in big big trouble!

The Fur Commission USA put out a statement Tuesday offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the attack. The non-profit’s executive director, Michael Whelan saying:

“Anyone who thinks they are helping the animals by doing this are severely misinformed. This is a crime against the animals as much as against the Lang family.”
