YouTube Silences Internet Stars Diamond And Silk: “Because We Are Loyal Supporters Of Trump”

The dynamic duo stumped for Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential Campaign, and they were paid substantially for it, too. But now, YouTube allegedly demonetized the vast majority of videos posted onThe Viewer’s View channel, hosted by Diamond and Silk. The duo — real names Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson — believe this was due to their vocal support of President Donald Trump.

If you go to The Viewer’s View and you’ll find a collection of video blog posts with a conservative-oriented theme that play clips from media shows where they riff on what’s wrong with them. Everyone from Kathy Griffin to CNN is fair game for these sisters.

On August 10, Diamond and Silk took to Twitter questioning the sudden demonetization of their video series, and they’re pretty certain they know the reason:

Diamond and Silk believe the “censorship,” and is “a Bias Method used to Silence our Conservative Voices,” and have questioned, “how was it ok to monetize our videos for the past two years and now those same videos are no longer eligible for monetization?”

According to Diamond and Silk’s own observation:

“It appears that YouTube is trying to determine what people can & cannot see & hear by removing debate, diversity & a difference of opinion.”

They then went on to say there could be the threat of legal action.

The two’s tweets got retweets of support from both Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity:

YouTube hasn’t commented as of Sunday whether the accusations are true or if it is advertisers who do not want to be associated with political controversy.
