5 YEARS LATER: Benghazi Survivors Finally Talk About “What Happened”

Hillary Clinton has been in the news nonstop because of the arrival of her new book.  As we all know by now, the election loss was totally NOT Hillary Clinton’s fault.  Alright, now let’s bring it back to something nobody has talked about for a while: Benghazi.

According to security guards that survived the attack, Hillary Clinton is trying to silence them.  A former employee of Clinton is demanding the guards keep quiet.  In particular, he or she wants the guards to stay quiet about the lax security directly before the 2012 attack.

Brad Owens and Jerry Torres were guards for Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions.  In a segment with Tucker Carlson, they referenced a scramble to improve security.

A cheap contractor caused the scramble.  Blue Mountain Group won a contract with the compound  Blue Mountain won by undercutting its competitors.  Their bid was 4% lower than the Torres bid.

Blue Mountain U.K. is a teeny, tiny, little security company registered in Wales that had never had a diplomatic security contract, had never done any high threat contracts anywhere else in the world that we’ve been able to find, much less in high threat areas for the U.S. government. They had a few guys on the ground.

Ultimately, that contract was a fatal error.  The government called Torres to “fix” the situation.  Unfortunately, they could only fix it in three weeks.  During that time, the Benghazi attacks happened.

Those who made the poor choices that actually, I would say, were more responsible for the Benghazi attacks than anyone else, they’re still in the same positions, making security choices for our embassies overseas now.

While the guard gives no specific references, it’s interesting that an official very close to Clinton is demanding their silence.

Clinton’s negligence ultimately cost four Americans their lives.  Much like her new book, I doubt she feels any guilt for her failure.

And the GOP controlled Congress cutting security budgets had nothing to do with it, right?
