Abedin to Clinton: Don’t Talk About Women’s Empowerment

Hillary Clinton gave a speech about human rights in Saudi Arabia while she was Secretary of State.  During her speech, Clinton omitted some major talking points that shows how “proud” she is to be an American, or even a woman.

Huma Abedin’s mother, an Islamic activist, advised Clinton that there were some things that she shouldn’t talk about.  Among the issues, Saleha Abedin advised Hillary Clinton to avoid discussing “women’s empowerment”, “democracy”, and “freedom”.  You know, basically the entire platform of the Hillary campaign.

A conservative group named Judicial Watch caught the suggestions within an email exchange between Huma Abedin and her mother.

Saleha voluntarily vetted the speech for Team Hillary.  She said the speech needed “major edits and corrections” before the presentation.  Then, she gouged the speech of some major American beliefs.

In her own words, here are some of her more controversial suggestions:

Do not use the political terms such as ‘democracy/elections/freedom

Do not use the term ‘empowerment of women’ instead say ‘enabling women.’

Do not even mention driving for women!

Don’t sound sympathetic to ‘women’s plight’ or be ‘patronizing’ as other visitors have done and made the students extremely annoyed. They rightly consider these as in-house issues.

Rather than rejecting her suggestions, the speechwriter approved them.  So did Hill.  Considering Hillary Clinton’s supposed core values are, well, all of these things, she should have rejected the suggestions.

Understandably, some cultural differences are inevitable.  However, as one of the leaders of the free world, and arguably one of the (former) more powerful women in government, Hillary shouldn’t chicken out.

As more and more documents come to light, we are finding out exactly how terrifying it would have been to have Hillary Clinton in office.  The woman has absolutely no spine.  And, of course, she compared herself to Cersei Lannister.

She is more a terrorist than she is an American. As for being a woman the jury is still out.
