Chelsea Clinton Tweets About Spending Year in Arpaio’s Tent Jail – Reactions Are Priceless!

Looks like that education from Stanford University really paid off dear Chelsea!

Saturday, Chelsea Clinton tweeted an article written by someone who spent a year in former Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Maricopa County “tent jail,” but made it seem like SHE was the one who spent time there.

Clinton tweeted the Washington Post op-ed, but she posted the story’s headline not using any quotation marks, making it appear like she was the one who spent a year in Arpaio’s jail.

Francisco Chairez, the op-ed’s author, describes his experience as an inmate serving time for a DUI conviction in Arpaio’s jail writing:

“[In 2014], I got into a bad relationship and I drove while drunk. I was arrested, and it took the county an entire year to prosecute me. I thought it was the worst year of my life, until I was convicted and sent to one of Arpaio’s jails. How ironic it is, that the immigrant who committed a minor criminal act has to live with a conviction on his record for the rest of his life, while a criminal like Arpaio gets to walk away unscathed for his crimes, which are greater in scale and severity.”

Chairez’s essay comes in the wake of Trump’s decision to pardon Arpaio for a criminal contempt conviction for going against a federal judge’s order not to detain people suspected of being illegal aliens.

Because it looked like Chelsea spent some good quality jail time with Arpaio by her unquoted tweet, people on social media went ahead and had a little fun:

Eventually it was pointed out to Clinton that she failed to attribute the quote to its source. That forced the former First Daughter to acknowledge her mistake.

What a dope. Did she expect us to believe that? Someone who has lived in luxury all their life? And if she would break the law, parents would get her off. What nerve to write about that guy’s experience like it was her. How stupid is she? The public is smarter than her from all she tweets.

With all the scandals that have been proven.. Your parents should have been indicted and sent to prison. I live in Phoenix and support Joe’s enforcement on illegal immigration. You commit a crime you do the time
