Liberal Agenda

A group of 20 attorneys made arrangements to meet at the Oregon State Bar’s headquarters in Tigard to discuss what, if anything, should be done about the Bar’s violation of federal law.  As the group was convening, the Bar’s CEO, Helen Hierschbiel, became aware of this meeting and would not allow them to use any of the many conference rooms.

As they arrived, Ms. Hierschbiel told these Bar members they could not use the telephone conference equipment (attorneys around the state wanted to attend via telephone), and that, if they stayed, a Bar employee would sit in the room to monitor the discussion.

The group left and re-convened at a law office nearby.

In the Bar’s monthly magazine, The Bulletin, where no Conservative thought is allowed, they formally announced that Trump supporters are “white supremacists” and “white nationalists.”  They pushed the false narrative that “white” on “non-white” crime had increased since the presidential election.  According to police records, it hasn’t.  In reality, only Liberal hysteria has increased since the election.

The Bar “leaders” violated federal law to advance a false narrative about Trump supporters and to threaten Oregon’s attorneys into hiding their “conservative” thoughts.  Indeed, the Bar told Trump supporters that they do not have full First Amendment Rights:

In their “Statement on White Nationalism and Normalization of Violence” they warned Oregon’s attorneys that the First Amendment is “not limitless.”  “We condemn the proliferation of speech that incites such violence,” when referring to Americans who support President Trump and/or criticize Liberal policies.

When the 13 signatories to these statements were asked to provide the documentation upon which they based their conclusions about “increased white on non-white” violence,” they could not.

These warnings/threats came just days after Liberals tried to incite violence at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland.  These thugs would not allow fellow students to hear remarks from a highly respected “conservative” scholar.  The very same Bar “leaders” did not condemn this near-riot.  Of course not.  The near-rioters were Liberals.

The Bar’s blatantly partisan two-page hate-filled diatribe is a clear violation of a 1990 U.S. Supreme Court ruling:  Keller v. State Bar of California, which held that attorneys who are required to be members of a state bar association DO have a First Amendment right to refrain from subsidizing the organization’s political or ideological activities.

The first statement was signed by the Bar’s president, president-elect, a Board of Governors’ member, the bar’s chief executive officer, the chair of diversity & inclusion committee and an employee who has never practiced law but had the correct skin pigment to head up the diversity and inclusion department.  What are his duties?

Only three of these 13 signatories had been elected by the membership.  The Bar designated nine attorneys to represent all “non-white,” gay  and transgender attorneys, because, well, they are Liberals.

The $9 million+ membership dues paid by Oregon’s attorney each year were used to build the magnificent headquarters in Tigard where the Oregon State Bar is housed.  Oregon’s attorneys cannot practice law unless they pay $552 in dues each January.

The “leaders” at the Oregon State Bar, former George W. haters, who lived in Obama nirvana for eight years, lost their tenuous grip on reality over Donald Trump’s presence in the Oval Office.  Before Trump was even inaugurated the Bulletin published an article about how Trump was in violation of the U.S. Constitution because he was a businessman and not a politician.

At Bar headquarters in February 2017 the Bar put on a half-day FREE (first time ever) and open to the public (first time ever) legal seminar.  They used one of the nice conference rooms that was denied to Conservative Bar members.  In it, six (Liberal) attorneys claimed that a sitting president did not have the authority to deny “classes of aliens” from entering the United States.  This is the exact opposite of a president’s statutory authority under the Immigration & Naturality Act of 1952.

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

The Act is very clear.  It grants to the President of the United States power to determine 1) if an alien or class of aliens might be detrimental to the interests of the US, and 2) deny them entry.  Unlike so many federal statutes, one does not need a law school education to understand this provision.

Since the presidential election the “leaders” of the Oregon State Bar, much like Antifa, have expended a lot of energy denying that President Trump is our Constitutionally-elected president, trying to run him out of office, and fighting the vast improvements he has accomplished for Americans and America.

You can find these illegal statements on the Oregon State Bar’s website, in the April 2018 issue of The Bar Bulletin, pages 42 & 43:

Why don’t you and the other conservative lawyers bring suit against the Oregon bar? Sounds like there are grounds to do so. If nothing else it would bring the hypocrisy to light.

Terry: Thank you for your suggestion. Several attorneys formed Oregon Civil Liberties Attorneys, a non-profit, to sue the Bar. Send me an email and I will send you a link. Also, there is an attorney in Southern Oregon who is gathering up a group of plaintiffs to sue the Bar. I will be a plaintiff. Things are happening. After 20+ years of blatant Liberal partisanship by the Bar, Oregon’s attorneys have had enough. Diane

Terry: Great idea! We are suing the Oregon State Bar. The April anti-Trump statements IN WRITING was the proverbial last straw. Two different groups of attorneys are suing under two different federal statutes. [One of these groups was the group who was kicked out. It was our first meeting to discuss whether to sue under Keller, the SCOTUS ruling that prohibits Bars from doing just what they did.] Last Wednesday I attend a meeting of ANOTHER group wherein I will be one of the plaintiffs. I will keep you posted. Diane

Dear Diane. I KNOW you are a fighter. You have what it takes. Those that need further encouragement, however, should realize that these far left whom are choosing to dismantle our country, and whom are also trying to strip you of your professional and personal rights, just proves the deviant self-absorbed mindset of the (far) left. It also shows their weaknesses and fears (BIG FEARS). You, as conservative attorneys (and LIBERAL attorneys!) should know what to do about this ‘dysfunctional’ group of individuals. I know it will be hard for most attorneys (and ALL others) as they fear for their images and professions, but they can not continue to ride on the shirt tails of those individuals from the past whom were willing to put it all on the line, to fight injustice. Try thinking of those in prior generations whom took a stand (possibly sacrificing all), so that we may enjoy the liberties we have today (but are slowly losing!). Hopefully they will do what is necessary to NOT allow these weak minded, discriminating, abusers of power, far left thinking bottom feeders get their way? There are MANY great rational thinking liberals out there whom KNOW in their hearts that this is wrong but are to afraid to take a stand themselves, against these vermin. This ‘fiasco’ should be made as PUBLIC as possible. And reported everywhere! Our current president can sure use this kind of information in November, lol! Yep…the far-left is desperate and the extremists such as this SMALL group need to be removed from their positions. They only regurgitate their own press, and thrive on those lies. Well, we all know how THAT WENT, in the last election. They need to be stopped and openly exposed as the traitors to our country and constitution, that they are. If allowed to corrupt others whom know no better (and our own young in colleges!), they will multiply like a deadly virus (and are doing so, at present!). They are the filth of Oregon. I know this, as we have some of their sewage up here in Washington State, trying to get away with the same BS, but our citizenship is definitely getting sick of it…conservatives AND sane liberals alike!

CLB: Thank you for the encouraging words. I am VERY encouraged by the fact that it is the under 40 crowd that is leading this Conservative Revolution. People are waking up. Liberals have pushed them too far. Obama’s damaging policies and attitude created, in part, Trump’s popularity. The Looney Left’s behavior since the election has even awaken many Democrats. When Liberals are making fools of themselves, we should not try to stop them. THEY are the best advertisement for Conservative ideas that we can ever have. Ha! Diane

You’re right about the Conservatives in this country sitting back and biting their tongues while liberals have destroyed this nation’s culture. In fact I hold conservatives responsible, they knew better yet did NOTHING.
