Furious Elderly Woman Sees De Blasio On Street, Turns Him Into National Laughingstock In SECONDS!

on

An elderly woman in Queens let Mayor de Blasio have it!

Vickie Paladino happened to be driving through her Queens neighborhood with her husband when they spotted the mayor.  Although the mayor was there to unveil a $16 million initiative to fix sidewalks damaged by tree roots, Paladino had better ideas.

She hopped out of her car and demanded answers as to why the mayor decided to protest the G-20 conference.  The mayor attended G-20 in lieu of a vigil that was held for slain police officer Misotis Familia.

I want to know why you let your police officers down and our country down by going to Germany and protesting against our country.  I want to know why you’re doing that. OK? I don’t care about the trees. We’ll work it out.

Rather than acknowledge the woman, de Blasio instead scampered away.  He also made sure there was a good amount of security between him and the woman.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the mayor won’t even top to listen to what his citizens have to say.  The woman wanted to voice her opinion, and he should have stopped to acknowledge her.  Clearly, he’s out of touch and a coward, too!

Major credit should be given to Mrs. Paladino for standing up for the NYPD.  It’s good to see that there are still some conservative New Yorkers around!

He’s lucky she didn’t run the Italian Mama rant. He screwed up BIG TIME by not attending the funeral of Officer Misotis Familia. If I were in his shoes, here is what I would do. First, admit it was a huge mistake. Then, of course, apologies all around to the family, the police, and to the City. Then I would address the police force directly. I would once again admit I made a mistake. And I would try to answer the question, “What were you thinking when you left the City in the wake of this tragedy to go to an international conference where you had no business being in the first placed since you don’t play on the international stage?”

I didn’t know what his motivation was, but I suspect he was blinded by the dogma of the liberal left. It was a protest of sorts. He did not see beyond it to his real role as Mayor and what was appropriate for him to do during a time of mourning.

I would then try to explain how I made the decision to the Police Department.

I would continue with high praise and recognition for the police who keep our city reasonably civilized. Leaving was not meant to disrespect the Police Department, even though that is the effect is had.

After all this, I would plan some special high-profile events to highlight achievements by individuals in the police department.

But all of this is window dressing unless he changes his attitude and perception of his police department and truly recognizes what they really do, how difficult and scary that can be, always with the thought in the back of your mind that this could be your last day on earth.

So wise up DiBlasio, throw the partisan filters away, and start running the city for the betterment of the city.
