The Lies Liberals Tell You About the Confederate Flag, The Civil War, And The KKK

on

With the recent acts of liberals destroying and vandalizing Confederate monuments, and attributing the Confederate Flag to the Ku Klux Klan, here’s at the very least 3 minutes of your time to read THE REAL HISTORY that liberals refuse to accept — mainly because it doesn’t justify their false narrative. Share this to spread THE TRUTH and dispel the lies.

Here’s the typical myths about the Confederate Flag, The Civil War, and the Ku Klux Klan people need to realize are completely FAKE NEWS.

MYTH #1: The Confederate Battle Flag represented the Southern Nation.

FACT: No. It was strictly a battle flag!

While the Southern Battle flag was carried into battle, the Southern Nation had 3 different National flags during the course of the war. The First National flag was changed due to a resemblance of the U.S. flag:

The Second National flag was subsequently modified due to the similarity to a flag of truce:

The Third National flag was the adopted flag of the Confederacy:

The Confederate Battle Flag was never a National Flag of the Confederacy. It was carried into battle by several armies such as the Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of Tennessee. It was also used as a Naval Jack by the Confederate Navy.

MYTH #2: The Confederate Battle Flag represents racism today.

FACT: No. Once again, it was strictly a battle flag!

The Confederate Battle Flag today finds itself in the center of much controversy and hoopla going on in several states. The cry to take this flag down is unjustified. It is very important to keep in mind that the Confederate Battle Flag was simply just that. A battle flag. It was never even a National flag, so how could it have flown over a slave nation or represented slavery or racism? This myth is continued by lack of education and ignorance. Those that vilify the Confederate Battle Flag are very confused about history and have jumped upon a bandwagon with loose wheels.

MYTH #3: The Confederate Flags are an authorized symbol of Aryan, KKK and hate groups.

FACT: Quite the contrary.

Organizations like the Ku Klux Klan and Aryans have took a piece of history, and plagued good Southern folks and the memories of fine Confederate Soldiers that fought under the flag with their own perverse agenda. The Confederate Flag IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM represents hate or violence. Heritage groups such as the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) battle the damage done daily to a proud nation by these hate groups. The SCV denounces all hate groups, and pridefully boast HERITAGE – NOT HATE.

Actual photographs/films from past to present, even KKK cable access talk shows all proudly boast as being an AMERICAN society, NOT a Southern or Confederate society. Therefore, you see the flag the KKK mainly waves, is an AMERICAN flag. Over 95% of the flags they fly are of the United States Of America’s “Stars and Stripes.”

Don’t believe it? Take a look at these photos from the past to the present, and see for yourself!

MYTH #4: The Civil War was fought over slavery.

FACT: Nope! Slavery was just an example to the REAL reason.

The war was fought over state’s rights and the limits of federal power in a union of states. So the issue was not slavery per se, but who decided whether slavery was acceptable, local institutions or a distant central government power.

The war was indeed about protecting the INSTITUTION of slavery, but only as a specific case of a state’s right to declare a federal law null and void. Southern states sought to secede because they believed the federal government had no authority to tell them how to run their states. There were a number of things the south was mad about, but the most obvious example was the North’s views on slavery.

The South clearly fought to defend slavery as a means of protecting their economic system and way of life, but they did so with slavery serving as the most glaring example of federal usurpation of state powers of self-determination. The war would be fought to prevent those states from seceding, not to destroy the institution of slavery. The war would be fought over different interpretations of our founding document.

MYTH #5: During the Civil War, the North Was Anti-Racism

FACT: The North was so prejudice that white people actually discriminated against other white people.

Southern Civil War enthusiasts will tell you the Civil War was really about: States’ Rights. Anyone else with a room temperature IQ will tell you: Slavery. That’s how most of us perceive the Civil War — the North was on the right side of history because they understood the fundamental truth that all men, no matter what color, were created equal.

However, the North was so prejudice that white people actually discriminated against other white people. So life wasn’t a bowl of cherries for non-whites. And for blacks, the 19th century was just awful no matter where you lived.
