Migrant In Caravan Slips Up on Live TV, Confirms Our Worst Fears, Trump Was Right … Migrant Caravan Contains Dangerous People

The Washington Post admits that President Trump has been clear since day one of his campaign about his determination to stop the flow of illegals crossing the border with Mexico because many are “bad hombres:”

The campaign began with a speech staged at Trump Tower… That speech was most notable for Trump’s promises to deal with the undocumented in a decisive way, a manner required, Trump said, because Mexico has dispatched the dregs of its society — “rapists” and “criminals” — to the United States.

Here’s Trump in his own words:

When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people. — Donald Trump, announcement speech, June 2015

One of my first acts will be to get all of the drug lords, all of the bad ones — we have some bad, bad people in this country that have to go out. We’re going to get them out. We’re going to secure the border. And once the border is secured, at a later date, we’ll make a determination as to the rest. But we have some bad hombres here, and we’re going to get them out. — Donald Trump, third and final presidential debate

Then candidate Trump has been consistent on this and even the Access Hollywood video didn’t deter voters from embracing his style of tough love aimed at protecting them, their children, and their neighborhoods.

Here’s Trump at the final debate before the election:

The left counters that “they’re all not bad people” as though that matters to any of the millions of victims of illegal immigration although only a fraction of that number are actually victims of a crime.

Their thinking goes along the lines that those entering the United States without going through proper channels have every right to be here so we cannot take that away from them.  That is convoluted at best and ignores the fact that their very presence here constitutes a deportable crime.

There’s no doubt that, despite the best efforts of the Border Patrol, border control is severely lacking and hardened criminals use that to their advantage to smuggle opiates, fentanyl, other hard drugs, and women and children into our country.  Too often the women and children become victims of sex slavery.

For the mainstream media to ignore these threats is unconscionable and calls into question just who it is that they choose to defend.

Now we have a video confirming that Donald Trump has been right all along:

According to that report by FOX News, the migrants have turned down Mexico’s offer of jobs and healthcare.  They are intent on reaching the United States. That’s the definition of an invasion.

And, a whole lot more people are threatened by the possibility of terrorists having implanted themselves in the invasion force:

While the so called “caravan” contains criminals and possibly terrorists, their numbers aren’t large enough to turn millions of Americans into victims.  Maybe not of crimes or mass execution, but collectively they threaten the economic security of every American.

The Center for Immigration Studies reported that based on National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine data, illegal border-crossers create an average fiscal burden of approximately $74,722 during their lifetimes, excluding any costs for their U.S.-born children.

With an estimated 30 million illegal aliens in the United States that comes to more than $2.2 Trillion.  That exceeds 10% of our national debt! That makes every taxpayer a victim and puts every recipient of an entitlement program at risk.

Just the cost of servicing that debt is daunting and for every 1% increase in the cost of borrowing by the Federal Reserve taxpayers are burdened with an additional $22 billion annually.  The interest alone is enough to fund the Wall that President Trump wants.

It’s also reasonable to ask who brought the polio-like virus that threatens at least two dozen states to the United States.

More risk to Americans comes from any money spent on illegal immigrants not being available to Homeland Security or for the military.

Claims that illegal immigrants add to our economic vitality are equally specious.  There are the millions of Americans – mostly from our lower economic demographic – that are displaced by these lower cost workers  and who themselves become a drain on our entitlement programs when they are displaced from jobs.
