Report: Robert Mueller Likely Wants to Interview Six White House Aides in Russia Probe

on

FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller reportedly tells the White House he intends to interview six current and former top staffers connected to his investigation into the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election.

The Washington Post reported Friday that on Mueller’s list: former Press Secretary Sean Spicer, former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, and Communications Director Hope Hicks.

Mueller also intends to question White House counsel Don McGahn, one of his deputies, and Josh Raffel — a spokesman whom the Washington Post describes as working closely with Senior Adviser Jared Kushner.

It’s believed that Mueller is interested in certain in discussions in connection to the decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey, along with the alleged inaction over warnings about former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s dealings with Russia. Flynn later resigned after it was uncovered that he misled Vice President Mike Pence about his conversations with the Russian ambassador to the U.S.

Mueller is also likely to focus on discussions in connection to a misleading July statement released by the White House, after reports surfaced about a June 2016 meeting between President Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr., and a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower.

Thursday, CNN reported Mueller is interested in how the White House gave a response to the initial New York Times report of the meeting, and whether information was deliberately not given.

Trump Jr., along with Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, and campaign chairman Paul Manafort, met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. For the Times article, Trump Jr. released this statement:

“It was a short introductory meeting. I asked Jared and Paul to stop by. We primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children that was active and popular with American families years ago and was since ended by the Russian government, but it was not a campaign issue at the time and there was no follow up.”

Trump Jr. later said he decided to have the meeting after Veselnitskaya teased information that would “incriminate” Hillary Clinton from the Russian government. But none of the parties at the meeting stated they discussed Clinton or this promised information in person.

It’s believed that Mueller is looking into President Trump’s role in the formulation of the statement and whether there was any intention to mislead the public, or the investigation.

So far, as reported by the Washington Post, no interviews have been scheduled because Mueller wants to go over the documents he requested from the White House.

All this BS is because Jeff Sessions did not do what President Trump wanted him to do! Jeff Sessions has no balls, and will not get justice for the American People! We need a pit bull like Trey Gowdy to put the Obamas and the Clintons in Jail on Death Row for Treason!
