A ‘For Sale’ Sign at City Hall’: FBI Indicts 2 PA Dem Mayors in Pay-to-Play Probe

The FBI has indicted two Pennsylvania mayors in a corruption probe.

In a five-person indictment, two mayors have been charged.  They are Mayor Pawlowski (D-Allentown) and former Mayor Vaughn Spencer (D-Reading).

Allentown is Pennsylvania’s third-largest city.

The U.S. attorney for Eastern Pennsylvania, Louis Lappen, discussed the extent of the corruption on WFMZ-69 news.

[They] essentially put up a ‘for sale’ sign in front of their city halls to sell city work to the highest bidder.

In one case, Pawlowski had bidding scores changed for a particular contract toward his favorite firm.  The payoff was beneficial to him: he received campaign contributions and tickets to Philadelphia Eagles games.

The Democrats continue to demand justice in the White House, and yet, they can’t seem to get their own party in line.

Don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house.
