Spicy’s back! But is Trump about to fire his Press Secretary?

“Spicy’s back!”

Saturday night, Melissa McCarthy brought back her beloved impression of Press Secretary Sean Spicer to NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

McCarthy was this week’s host, and kicked off a sketch with Spicer in the bushes outside the White House, before taking back the lectern fromDeputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders played by Aidy Bryant.

In the sketch, McCarthy’s Spicer took questions from the White House press about President Donald Trump’s firing of FBI Chief James Comey, along with Russia saying:

“Let me just put this whole Russian thing to bed once and for all, Trump is innocent. How do we know? Because he told us so. Period.”

The sketch then had “Spicer” attack reporters with fire extinguishers, even structures of the White House, before the reporters asked if Trump is lying to Spicer, with him responding:

“He wouldn’t do that. He’s my friend!”

One reporter then asks Spicer that if Trump is such a good friend, why is everyone saying the President is about to replace Spicer with Sanders? So to find out, McCarthy’s Spicer took his moving lectern to the streets of New York, all to find and speak to Trump.
