ITS ON! U.S., Allies Prepared to Use ‘Overwhelming Force’ in North Korea, General Says


Ready to rock.

The U.S. conducted 10-hour bomber drills over the Korean peninsula.  The directly responded to the recent missile tests conducted by North Korea.

General Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, U.S. Pacific Air Forces Commander, said in his statement:

Diplomacy remains the lead.  However, we have a responsibility to our allies and our nation to showcase our unwavering commitment while planning for the worst-case scenario.

If called upon we are ready to respond with rapid, lethal and overwhelming force at a time and place of our choosing.


U.S. flew with Japanese and South Korean air forces.

China was absent.  The country has drawn much criticism from both President Trump and the Tillerson for failing to discourage North Korea.
