VIRAL VIDEO: Woman Removed From Southwest Flight Because Of Dog Allergies

A woman aboard a Southwest flight from Baltimore to LA was detained and removed by officials, after she demanded two dogs on the flight be removed.

The woman says she has a life-threatening allergy and refused to leave, and that’s what got law enforcement got involved. The video below shows the woman being forcibly removed by two law enforcement officers, as she is heard yelling, “Don’t touch me.” At one point in the video, you can hear her accuse the officers of ripping her pants.

Before the altercation, the woman allegedly told the flight crew she had a life-threatening allergy to two dogs on the flight, one of which was a service animal, and she demanded that they be removed from the flight.

However, the woman could not provide the proper medical certificate stating she could travel safely, she was asked to leave. Bill Dumas, who shot the cell phone video says:

“They spent a long time talking to the woman, explaining to her what the situation was, trying to work with her. The pilot said they wouldn’t leave until it got resolved.”

Even though the officers tried removing the unidentified woman, Dumas says she kept saying she was trying to get to her father’s surgery saying:

“If you look at the police, they were being overly aggressive. Really, she wasn’t giving them much of a choice, and the people on the plane were saying, ‘Just get off the plane.'”
